Welcome Back to School!  

I am so excited to teach your child this year!  I have always held a special place in my heart for kindergarten.  This is going to be a great year!  

 Our Specials Are: 

Monday- Music

Tuesday- Gym

Wednesday- Spanish and Library

Thursday- Gym

Friday- MASS and Music

I will be updating the blog each week.  This way you can see what we will be doing during the week.  I will also post pictures of the students so you can be a part of our day.   I will email you to let you know that the BLOG has been updated.  If you ever have any questions, please email me or leave a message in the office and I will get back to you as soon as possible.   We will be spending time in class this week learning about how we act during Mass.  We will go over to church on Thursday to practice some important parts of the Mass.  Please dress them appropriately for Mass on Friday.  The dress code says that boys need to wear a collared shirt and no jeans or shorts.  Girls need to wear appropriate dress clothes, no jeans or shorts.

At the beginning of the school year your child will have an opportunity to bring up the gifts during Mass. I will email you to let you know when it is your child's turn.  They will have an opportunity as the year goes on to read, also.  You will then receive the reading to practice with them at home.

 

We will be reading The Kissing Hand on Thursday and talking about our own feelings in school.  We will also be working on nursery rhymes.
